When I Was one

When I was one, I'd just begun,

The day I went to sea,

I jumped aboard a pirate ship

And the captain said to me...

"We're going this way, that way,

Forwards and backwards,

Over the Irish sea.

A bottle of rum to fill my tum

And that's the life for me!"

When I was two I lost my shoe

The day I went to sea,

I jumped aboard a pirate ship

And the captain said to me....

When I was three I hurt my knee,

The day I went to sea,

When I was four knocked at the door

The day I went to sea,

When I was five I learnt to drive,

The day I went to sea.

When I was six I played some tricks

The day I went to sea.

When I was seven I went to Devon

The day I went to sea.

When I was eight I found a mate

The day I went to sea.

When I was nine I had some wine
